Emily Gasser

  • Emily is currently a third year graduate student in linguistics. Her primary interests are phonology, documentation, and language contact and change. Her focus is on Austronesian languages, particularly those spoken in Indonesia. Current research projects include a phylogenetic analysis of the Bima-Sumba subgroup located in eastern Indonesia, and fieldwork on Wamesa, an Austronesian language of West Papua.
